Afroxchange Global Services Ltd.,a trusted partner in IT and Telecom Consulting, is working with its public-sector client to fill a role in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role is for a seasoned Senior Analytics Developer to drive data innovation and insight delivery within a highly regulated utility environment.
Your Role at a Glance
As a Senior Analytics Developer, you will be instrumental in developing robust data pipelines and enterprise analytics solutions that empower business intelligence across the organization. Collaborating with data analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the seamless flow and transformation of high-volume datasets to meet strategic reporting and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and manage data acquisition and transformation processes
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines
- Lead implementation of modern analytics architecture using industry best practices
- Provide ongoing production support and resolution of data issues
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and interpret analytical requirements
- Mentor junior developers and enforce data development best practices
- Deliver clean technical documentation, including specifications and design artifacts
- Develop unit tests and embed security in all analytics solutions
- Work within Agile teams, participating in stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
What Weβre Looking For
Education
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Systems Analysis, or a related field
Experience (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated success as an SAP Analytics Solution Architect, including:
- SAP Business Warehouse (BW 7.5)
- SAP module integration (MM, FI, PS, SuccessFactors, CRM)
- Integration with Business Objects (4.3), Power BI (Direct Query), HANA DB, Microsoft Dataflows, Azure ADLS
- Expertise in setting development standards and advising on enterprise data modeling
- Ability to build reusable, scalable data models for enterprise and citizen developer use
Experience (Desired/Asset)
- Working knowledge of:
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Event Hub
- Azure Synapse
- Azure DevOps
Work Environment
- Hybrid work arrangement β onsite availability in Regina preferred
- Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM CST
- Overtime may be required; no on-call duties
- In-person interviews preferred
