📅 Duration: 1 Year Contract.

About the Role:

Afroxchange Global Services Ltd., a leading IT and Telecom Consulting firm, is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support Digital Transformation Initiatives for a key client. This engagement involves leading small to medium project teams in gathering and analyzing business requirements for automation of work processes or enhancement to existing business system functionalities.  Coordinates the testing and evaluation of the performance of system and documents and instructs staff on changes.  Assists in various other areas including business case development, data input, development of data process models and information architecture.


Your Role Will Include:

  1. Leading business requirements gathering and process analysis for business operations. Analyze requirements of assigned departments and users.  Confers with user departments regarding business specifications to be met and prioritization for completion.

  2. Using interviewing skills, liaise with front line staff to gather data and document work processes, workflow, etc.

  3. Developing business cases and managing detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications aligned with cloud adoption goals.

  4. Assisting project manager in the development of project scope, identify resource requirements and assignments, estimate task completion dates, prepare and update schedules, prepare project related reports, prioritize tasks, identify and record risks, determine tool requirements and coordinate release of product to users.

  5. Collaborating with technical teams, developers, consultants and service providers to; define process automation requirements, compile, present and write system requirements and verify with the users.  Reviews design documents and provides input on changes or alternatives which will meet user requirements.

  6. prepare test scripts and scenarios to test for new or enhanced programs.  Executes tests and records and maintains a list of problems identified during testing.  Discusses problems with developers and retests corrected problems.

  7. Develops implementation plans with department representatives.  Communicates and/or instructs staff affected by change.

  8. Attends department, unit and/or project meetings.  Provides and seeks input on project status.

  9. Participates in identification and prioritization of technology transformation initiatives.

  10. Adapts to the constant changes occurring in the computer systems and business environment and related support.

  11. Identifies changes required to user manuals and provides procedures for document administration. Complete documentation of these changes as they are made and communicate details or instructions to managers and front-line staff of the related business area.

  12. Mapping current-state (on-premises) systems and workflows to future-state (Azure) environments, with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability.

  13. Supporting impact analysis, change readiness, and user training plans across manufacturing functions.

  14. Facilitating stakeholder workshops, including operations, IT, and production management teams.

  15. Creating comprehensive business analysis documentation, including capability maps, data flow diagrams, and customer journey maps.

  16. Ensuring requirement traceability through all project phases, including testing and deployment support.


What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in process mapping, process modelling, business analysis methods and process automation tools

  2. Strong ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical jargon to non-technical people.

  3. Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to organize and facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings, mindful of the impact of organizational change.

  4. Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate business information into technical specifications as well produce detailed documentation with the ability to simplify complex technical information into business language.

  5. Experience in application life cycle in operations mode- change management, change prioritization, impact analysis.

  6. Experience with information technology best practices for software development and ongoing release and change management.

  7. Experience in developing and enhancing tools and methods for use in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance activities.

  8. Experience working well with an integrated team of both business and technical resources.

  9. Experience using or certification with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) methodology is considered an asset.

  10. Experience capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using organizational knowledge.

  11. Experience preparing and delivering presentations to executive level resources.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification

  2. Prior experience supporting digital transformation Project.

  3. Familiarity with tools like Process Orchestration/Automation, RPA, UML, DevOps, Jira, or Confluence


Work Details:

  1. Mode: Hybrid (Onsite presence in Regina, SK preferred)

  2. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
